Review our case studies from a few of our marketing clients:

Soup Marketer

Situation

The client markets gourmet dry soup mixes.  Starting as an upper Midwest distributor to specialty retailers, the client began working with 612 Network as it was transitioning to online marketing.  They had identified their primary concern as cyber security, and appreciated that their transition’s need for expanded information storage was making them vulnerable.  612 Network was contacted because of its history and experience with security.  In the last decade, data security has mainly been about expanding storage space and increasing access speed.  Thus, data software has been jury rigged by adding layer upon layer of temporary software fixes, rather than rewriting core software codes.

Outcome

We worked with the client’s software vendor to make as many security enhancements as possible.  Moreover, we created a robust hosted server environment that helped improve general security in multiple business functions.  Their owner has viewed our relationship in these terms:  “Since working with 612 Network, our business has continued to grow without any major security lapses.  We have been willing to move to two larger facilities because of our confidence in what they call our IT Operational Integrity.”

Brand Marketing

Situation

The client provides multi-pronged approaches to strengthening a company’s brand.  This encompasses a broad range of services/products impacting all stakeholders—customers, employees, and suppliers.  These offerings include: merchandise, identity apparel, incentives, digital/offset printing, online company stores, and enterprise marketing execution solutions.  As the client has expanded its brand building capabilities—primarily through acquisitions—its IT has, in the company president’s opinion, become unwieldly and cost excessive.  He thus has asked 612 Network to begin eliminating IT duplication in acquired company locations.

Outcome

The client’s owner has commented: “The early results from our relationship with 612 Network have been outstanding.  It will be hard for our growth-through-acquisition strategy to pay off unless we consolidate IT.   612 Network has been clearly up to the task.  Our IT costs are being dramatically cut, through internal staff reduction, but also through allowing those employees—who had been forced to take on additional IT tasks—the ability to stop worrying about computers and once again focus on their original job responsibilities.  It makes our whole team more focused.”

Marketing Research

Situation

The client is a full service qualitative and quantitative marketing research provider.  With more than 30 years of experience, company personnel have special expertise in industries including medical devices, health insurance, telecommunications, and financial services.  The relationship with its prior IT vendor had been successful, but the vendor was exiting the business, and recommended 612 Network as its replacement.

Outcome

The company’s owner explains: “We are happy that we accepted our previous vendor’s recommendation.  With 612 Network we’ve really stayed in the IT groove.  They advertise themselves as a ‘perfect fit,’ and since we’re in the marketing research business, we gave that promise a lot of critical consideration.  But it works.  They don’t give you more than necessary, or less than what’s optimal.  And they truly engage you in such a way as to expertly address both the strengths and limitations of your network.”
